Duck and the Outer BanksThe Town of Duck, NC, is that quiet, charming northern Outer Banks seaside town many vacationing families have been seeking. With 7 miles of clean beaches, miles of bike path and a walkable village center with shops, restaurants, a soundfront park and activities, and bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound, Duck stretches north from Southern Shores to the Dare County/Currituck County line. Duck has completed a boardwalk along the sound that provides a walking connection to all shops as well as view of nature.
Duck is in the midst of the Outer Banks, a short drive to many of the most popular attractions in North Carolina, including the Corolla Lighthouse, the Wright Brothers Memorial, and Jockey's Ridge State Park. Duck is also home to many superb restaurants, and the Sanderling Inn Resort and Spa. |
